Contemplative Spiritual Practices

Our lives are often characterized by a relentless pace and information overload. We find it surprisingly difficult to quiet our souls. Yet it is in slowing down that we create space to encounter Jesus in ways we often miss.

The saints of centuries past have much to teach us about experiencing God in contemplative prayer. Mandy Kasper will lead us in a day of contemplative spiritual practices that we can incorporate into the daily rhythms of our lives.

Becoming Jesus-Centred

We believe that Jesus is the most complete picture of who God is and what he is like. He is our example and our teacher of how to live our lives.

Jon Hand will lead us in a powerful discussion of what it means to be Jesus-centred and how this approach to life and faith provides a framework for modeling peace in our increasingly polarized world.

Mandy Kasper

Mandy is the Spiritual Practices Pastor at Southridge Church in St. Catherines, Ontario.

Our lives run at a relentless 24/7 pace of so much noise, motion, and stress, that it leaves little room to attend to the health of our souls. In her role Mandy curates experiences and creates a variety of spiritual exercises to help people engage in regular time with God.
